TPS7A4001 / direct connected Power Pad and GND ?

Hello,
 
Is Power pad direct connected to GND( 4 pin) in internally ?
 
I understood that there is discription "NOTE: The PowerPAD is internally connected to GND" in data sheet Page 5.
I would like to know indirectly-connected or directly connected.
