TL7709 - Is it OK to use the TL7709 (9V) supervisor in a 12V application with a custom threshold by adding a resistor divider in series with the sense pin?

Is it OK to use the TL7709 (9V) supervisor in a 12V application with a custom threshold by adding a resistor divider in series with the sense pin?

Answer:

Adding a divider to convert the 12V into 9V and connecting it to the SENSE pin is an acceptable solution.  The hystersis on the part remains the same.
