I have a RF brick power amplifier that consume ~1.5A while transmitting @ 7...9Vdc. I'm looking for a high efficiency and small size solution to down convert from 12...15V input. What TI part you recommend me?
I also could use this regulator while receiving but I have no idea if exists a solution with high efficiency (>90% ) starting from ~100mA up. Alternative is to switch off the regulator in Rx mode but I may have problems with delays when switch on for transmit. Any idea?
