I have repeated this 5 times with same result, I hook up at CR123A battery to eval board. Before each trial I issue control 0041 and reload golden .gg file. I downloaded a golden .senc file but don't see how to read it in from the menus.
Configure Flash Update OK Volt to 2500, Design Cap to 1500, Cell Charge Voltages to 3200, Cell terminate voltage to 2700 Qmax Cell 0 to 1500, Cell V at Chg Term to 3200. I disconnect and reconnect battery. I write control 0021, I see RUP_DIS low, VOK and QEN high, Update status goes to 04. I didn't adjust battery chemistry, and the Fuel gauage reads 0, and the Full Charge Cap is a 2mAh. I connect a load of 250mA and after several hours the Full Charge Capacity reads 1100mAh and the voltage has dropped to 2650. I remove load and wait 5 hours. status is still at 04, but the Full charge capacity has reset to 2mA. I would not have thought battery chemistry would keep me from getting to status of 06. I figure there is not much point in trying anything else till I can get to status=06. Comments?
FYI , If I remove battery and install a fresh one, the gauge reads 100%, but Full Charge Capacity is just 3mAh. Status still 04. Here I could see incorrect battery chemistry effecting the Full Charge Capacity.
