Switching losses in TPS61161

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61165

Hello,

I wish to use  either the TPS61165 LED driver.

Vin = 13.5V

Iout = 300mA (7 LEDs in series)

However, it has a fixed switching frequency of 1.2MHz.

This will mean it has high switching losses.

May i confirm that 'Boundary Conduction Mode' represents the best case for low switching losses in a boost converter?

Now......Regarding Continuous Conduction Mode, (CCM)  ......CCM involves the FET turning on into high current...the worst case for switching loss.

So please may i confirm that 'Boundary Conduction Mode' must therefore be the method of choice fo low switching losses in a boost converter?
