PT5542C - Lifetime buy status

I was just informed that the PT5542C device status is Lifetime Buy.  I have not been able to find the Product Change Notice for the this device on the website.  When is the final lifetime buy date and the final ship date?

Just as important, is there a form fit and function replacement for this device?

    Mike:

    The PT5542C  will be no longer orderable  after December 18,2013. The PCN was sent out in December 2012

    If the confirmed order is received before December 18, 2013, the units can be shipped no later than July 2014.

     There is no form  or fit  replacement for PT554x series. . The PTN04050CAS( tin/lead)(SMT)  or PTN04050CAZ( lead free) SMT has the same function , but is a smaller version (0.870 x 0.495) versus 1.0" x 1.0' for PT554x as  as a 4pin assembly.
