Hello,
My application has limited PCB space so we need to keep the TPS62110 inductor as physically small as possible. We will use Fsync = 1 MHz. Vendor name & part number suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Regards,
Eric

I recommend using newer devices, such as the TPS62170. It supports a such smaller solution size.
Digikey offers a wide range of vendors and sizes. As well, Coilcraft has many options at this power level.
Chris,
Thanks for your post. I would like to stick with the TPS62110 based on previous experience with it and we also have the sync signal available for it. Our application is a radio product so ripple, noise, etc are very important -- we know the TPS62110 will do the job. Have you had good results with TDK inductors?
Eric
The DCS-Control topology has a lower ripple power save mode than the older TPS62170. It also operates at a higher operating frequency, so this is generally easier to filter out. But it can't be sync'd.
Yes, TDK inductors are fine.
