I need to update these parts in our Approved Supplier List to enable Procurement to purchase them. They were originally listed as National Semiconductor parts, which needs to be changed to TI due to the acquisition. The original manufacturing site is listed as Burlington, Massachusetts, which is closed. I talked to TI Technical Support, and all they could come up with was "Malaysia/Tiema". I can't find any place called Tiema in Malaysia. I also talked to someone at Mouser, and she was able to confirm that the manufacturing location is in Malaysia, but I need to narrow it down to a city as well. I found quality certificates for 2 sites in Malaysia: Melaka, and Kuala Lumpur. Can anyone help?

    'TIEMA' is the internal accounting code assigned to the former National Semiconductor assembly and test site in Melaka Malaysia.

    LM2940CS and LM2990S are both assembled and tested at this facility.

    Wafer fabrication is not done at this facility.
