LM5576 Webench Connection

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5576, LM25576-Q1, LM25576, LM5576-Q1

TI Team,

I noticed that my LM5576 Webench simulation circuit is missing connection on AGND, RT, and the CCOMP2 label is not correctly positioned. As far as I can tell, the simulation modeling worked.

My question. Is this just a bug in the drawing package, or will ti also affect the model in simulation. I've attached a picture and the link to the Webench file. Thanks for yoru help.

  • David,

I think its just a bug in the drawing package. I ran a sim using the LM5576 (non -Q1) and the schematic connections looked normal. The same bug exists for the LM25576-Q1 but not for the LM25576. I suggest that you run the same sim for the LM5576 (correct schematic) and compare results with the LM5576-Q1 sim.

  • Hi David,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. It looks like it is a drawing issue with the Automotive grade (Q version) only, and the version using the standard IC is not affected.

For now, please use the simulations and schematic for the non-Q grade version until we can get this fixed. We apologize for the inconvenience.
