Hi!

we are looking at this part TPS57040 for a customer and they said that the part cannot work properly at 3.3v out with 3.6vin.

Do you have more information?

The output current is around 300mA.

And now they are thinking about a sepic with the LM5001.

Hi Romain,

I am going to move this post to the non-isolated post so that it is more likely to be seen by the owners of the TPS57040. However, if you need help with the LM5001 you can repost under simple switcher.

TPS57040 is a spin of TPS54040. Under light laod conditions and low headroom betewwen Vin and Vout, there may be times when the Vout ripple will aproach 2.1 V p-p due to BOOT uVLO limitations.
