I am trying to size external components for an LM2623 with 3.3V and 1A of output and am trying to determine the necessary power rating for the resistors in the feedback divider. Do these need to be rated for full output voltage and current?

    Lauren,

    5V/400K is about 12uA of currrent the Rfb draws so they need not be power resistor.  In generall feedback resistors are large value and dissipate very little power.  You can easily calculate the power using i^2R or v^2/R and it is independent of output current.
