BQ20Z65 & BQ MultiStation Tester Issues

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ20Z65

I am trying to set up the BQ MultiStation Tester and receive the following error while loading the program:

"Single site InitCacheFromSetup() failed for board Test.Error code = 65557"

I was able to run the bq Tester StationSetup without issues, and have selected the default .dfi file for the BQ20Z65: bq20z65_1_05.dfi

After reading other posts with the same problem, I changed the Targets file for the part to  "bq20z65 v1.05","650.1.05" but still received the same error.

Any thoughts?

Also, is it not possible to program a sense resistor value with a decimal point? I am using a 2.5mOhm sense resistor on my board, and every time I save the setup, it reverts to 2mOhm.

  • I believe I have this figured out. I made the apparent mistake of trying to program a .dfi file as opposed to a .rom file. Once I changed to .rom, I no longer received the error. I did need to keep the modified Targets file to work with the BQ20Z65 v1.05.

I was able to calibrate a board fine as long as I set my Sense resistor to 2mOhm with 50% error. This is not ideal, but is the only way I can see to do this given that it does not accept decimal points.
