TPS54620 idle current while active

Hi,

I'm using the TPS54620 to convert from 5.0V to 3.3V. The switching frequency is 900kHz. How much current can I expect the regulator to draw when there is no load? I can find the quicient current for shut down and non-switching cases in the datasheet, but not the idle current of an active regulator.

You should expect something in the range 0f 12 to 16 mA.

That is very much in line with my initial measurements. My lab power has a 10mA resolution and displays 20mA on all the boards I've tested so far. The idle current of the regulator feedback and the few resistive loads only add 0.3mA.

I'll do more measurements with a better amp-meter.
