Combine 4 EVM together to obtain DC DC dual output PSU

Also it is very important to understand the dimensions of thes 4 EVM, they are not available on their datasheet... Can you please give me this information?

Usually you can find the EVM dimensions in the users guides.  The TPS842XX EVMs are both 4" x 2" as an example.

You can usually find the board size in teh PCB description of the BOM in the users guide.  The '7400 is 1.6" x 2.5" and the '3301 is 1.55" x 2".

thank you for your cooperation, before placing any order i must be sure that the solution of using the 4 EVM connecting their Ground together to realize a whole DC DC Psu composed of 4 PCB with 24dc input and ±12V Output is feasible.

In general you can combine different EVMs to create multiple output systems.  I have done this a few times with various ICs that I support.  I do not know of any reason why it would not work as well for the EVMs you are interested in, but I have not looked at them in detail, and do not know how easy / hard it is to modify the outputs to your requirements.  Since those ICs belong to other product lines, I am not familiar with the EVMs or their functions.  Lets see if the respective application engineers will offer any feedback.

I took a quick look at the TPS7A4700 EVM, that was giving you problems with the PMP reference design.  The EVM output is configured using jumpers, so it should be easy to modify.  The other LDO EVM uses a simple resistor divider to set the output.

Did you ever get your EVMs configured properly?  Just curious.

not yet, we still have to buy them and we're evaluating also the feasibility of this solution with our technicians before purchasing them, so i really appreciate if you have the possibility to test them in your laboratory in that configuration to know the results and the eventual issues

I don't actually support any of those devices directly.  Can you tell me about your application and potential business?

This low noise/ripple power supply is required to feed an instrument prototype very sensitive to noise, so we're wondering if this 4EVMs combination could provide us a valid solution for this task.

So as i told you i want to be sure that connecting these 4 EVM together does not lead to any problem..
