See below and advise:
1) In the BQ12072 there is an option to connect the battery thermistor in order to monitor the temperature.
As I use battery with low capacity and the current from Vin to GND in the TS input can drain the battery (see figure below):
I would like to know what is the current there?
Is there a device without this option (for example from microchip - MCP73831)?
Although not shown in the block diagram, Q1's body diode (not shown in the block diagram) blocks current from flowing from BAT through Q2 back to VIN when no input source is connected. Therefore current will only flow through TS's internal resistor divider when the input source is attached. The current is on the order of 10uA-100uA.
