Are there any IC controllers available for inverter operation (DA/AC converter)?

There are many out there.
All push pull controllers do the job. tl494 uc3825 uc3525 etc.

Thank you very much for your quick answer.
These chips have two interleaved outputs. For bi-polar PWM inverters, the two gate signals are complimentary, not interleaved. Are there other choices?
Thank you.

if you are going to make a single stage inverter with iron transformer, Those chips are fine.
if its a modified sign wave switching type ,you need two stage .one stage to make around 250 dc(or 120v) and one stage to invert this to a modified sign wave with 4 igbts.
for both stages you can use the chips I mentioned.
If you need a true sign, its better a dsp to do all the job including boost stage and sine pwm etc.
if you are familiar with dspic33fj series from microchip, there is a lot of dsps for switching application.
I know there are some TI chips too, but I am not familiar with!
