LM5122 Power Usage

I am planing to use LM5122 boost to design a battery charger. Can someone help me to check if the following scheme can work or not?

(1) Vin pin of LM5122 input is 8.8V

(2) CSP,CSN  pin and inductor intput voltage is 36~44V

or the only way to use external lower voltage power is through VCC pin ?
