LM5122 searching simulation model

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5122, TINA-TI

Hi,  searching a simulation model of LM5122 I downloaded the attached zip-file from TI-homepage, which is not running with TINA.  A TI-HW-designer told me, that this is a PSpice model, while TINA is a spice program. Spice and Pspice are not compatible. He sent the attached PSpice model to a TI-section to be transformed to a Spice model. I am waiting for 3 weeks already, however the TI HW designer cannot accelerate the process neither.

Anyone of you, who simulated LM5122, please tell me how you did. Do you know how to transform a PSpice model into a Spice model ? Or do I have to look for a PSpice program ? If yes, will OrCad Ver. 16 (Demo), which I installed, be sufficient ? Last years I simuleted only with LTspice. Concerning TINA and OrCAD I am a greenhorn  ;-)  . So any support or links for TINA and OrCAD Newbies are welcome.  Thanks for help.

  • Hi,

    I have the same Problem.

The model for the LM5122 provided on the LM5122 product details page is encrypted, but TINA-TI cant use this files, nice, cause both were from TI.

Hope some TI guy solve this funny thing ASAP.

    With best regards
