hie there again

when i reset bq2084 and 20z70 based batteries whose FCC have droped bellow or risen above the manufacturer FCC value,when i then try to charge using an external non udjustable power supply(12v 1A) normaly the battery does not charge even to 20%.even if i try to chage the battery using a laptop the batteries do not charge to 20%.

what am i doing wrong?

Hi Reuben,

Connect your gas guage to a computer and with the help of the EVSW, this will indicate what is preventing your charge fet from being turned on.

Hi Onyx,

I use the bq20z65. We will use the charger bq2024735.

But at some moments, during the discharge, the bq20z65 will receive some charge currents (~200ms each second) during 5 seconds (for example) and thus without the charger connected.

Is that possible to allow this small pick of charge current ? (they normally are smaller than 1C).

Can the bq20z65 toggle fast enough between charge and discharge mode ?

Hi Alex,

Current is measured every 250 ms and averaged over 1s period.
