BQ24726 already phased out?

Hello TI,

as of today I noticed that BQ24726 is not listed (any more) by ti.com search function - only an EVM module for it shown with status PREVIEW. Strange?!

Has BQ24726 been phased out in the last few months?

Just finished a design with it 2 months ago - do I need to re-do this soon?

Hello,

bq24726 is still an active customer part and you can order it. We keep support it as before. We didn't make any change on ti.com for bq24726.

You may use the digikey link to find the bq24726 datasheet two months ago:

Hello Wang,

but the fact that the datasheet is no longer available on ti.com could tell me that the part is no longer really "active" even if I can still buy it. Right?

What active part would be the best and nearest replacement?

Some time before I have used the parametric search on ti.com to find it....

The bq24726 is an active part. It is just a customer part. Any customer part datasheet is not published on ti.com. But, you can still buy it and use it. We keep supporting it.
