LM3414HV High Speed Parallel Dimming - is it possible?

Hello, 

I am wondering if it is possible to use parallel dimming techniques using a shunt MOSFET over the LED array with the LM3414.  I need to dim at around 30kHz and maintain high contrast ratio.

Is it possible to do this like it is with other TI chips such as the LM3409 & LM3406?  

There doesn't appear to be any mention of it in the datasheet, or any application notes.
