Hello Everyone,
Has anyone using the UC2625 chip ever had issues with the tach-out pin? We are using the chip in an application, and we see a constant duty cycle output at the tach-out pin even though the motor has stopped rotating.
So, the hall states should not be changing, and the one-shot in the chip should not recognize any edge events. Even though this would be the expected operation what we see is very different. We see that the tach-out pin will give us ~40% duty cycle when the motor is halted.
Has anyone else ever seen this operation?
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
Are there any other chips that could replace the UC2625 from TI with another TI chip?
Thanks,
John
