TPS61040 not working when attaching load

Hi all,

I am using TPS61040 circuit in my application. I connected  the LCD it is working fine. Once i removed the LCD and then switching On (that means no load condition) it is working fine. Once again i connected the LCD then the IC is not working.

Why this type of problem occurred. Is it necessary we need to keep the load continuously.

Please let me know

    I split this thread since it has nothing to do with the load disconnect circuits mentioned in the previous thread.

    You will need to capture some waveforms to see what the IC is doing in the working and not working case.

    You should also consider if this is a realistic case in your system--can the LCD be disconnected and then reconnected by the user?
