BQ20z95 replace with BQ20z65

Hello,

I am using BQ20z95 in a large scale and at this point it is not possible for me to go to another Circuit.So i need a favor from you.

I need a Crystal Segment Display in Place of LED Display i know that BQ20z95 Doesn't support the LCD Display.

And your Ic BQ20z655 supports the Crystal Segment Display . if in my Circuit I replace the BQ20z95 with BQ20z655 will it work .Because the Pin Configuration of both are same the only difference in it is its Led OUT pin(8) i.e One Cap. n resistor is connected and also the Common of LCD is Connected to nc pin (12)

if i make the same difference in my circuit and replace the Ic will it work or no.

Please Reply ASAP as it is urgent project

Tanvi,

Even though the pins are almost pin-to-pin compatible, I would strongly suggest you carefully review the schematic in the user guide for the z655 to make sure you can do this with your circuit.

Dear Onyx

When i go through your product i.e BQ20z655. I found that there are two products. Bq20z655 and Bq20z655-r1 i have found that the Bq20z655 is different where as BQ20z655-R1 has z95 evm can you please tell m what is their is difference between the two or they both are same .
