Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3407
Hello,
I want to power one (10x1 individual PWM controlled LEDs, 10x LM3407) 1W LED with the LM3407, the power supply is from a 12V car battery, but the voltage are more than 12V. (14.4V or some times a little bit more)
In the datasheet page 16, Figure 26, at the example circuit the input voltage is 4.5V - 12V. Is 12V the max. with one LED? (How can I calculate/find that?)
On page 1, TYPICAL APPLICATION, the input voltage is 4.5V - 30V, 1 - 7 LED 's, so 1 LED at 30V? or 12V?
Table1 on page 15, 1 LED and Vin 30V = 22 μH Inductance, 30V Vin with 1 LED...
Datasheet: http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm3407.pdf
I want to be safe...
Thanks!
