TPS65290BM and PWR_BB2 output

I'm working with the TPS65290BM EVM and can not enable the PWR_BB2 switch. I get 0V on TP12. The PWR_BB1 switch is enabled just fine. Am I missing some key piece of information that talks about enabling the PWR_BB2 switch?

It should be an straiightforward procedure. Can I please ask you to confirm what yoy write on the register box as per the instructions on Page a0 and figure 7 of the EVM document?

I wrote 03 00 12 per figure 7 and page 10 of slvu906. According to the data sheet TPS65290, revised June 2013, register 3 sets the BUCK_BOOST output voltage, disables UVLO, forces BUCK_BOOST PWM and configures the VMAX latch. It does not do anything to enable the PWR_BB2 switch. I am able to see the buck-boost output voltage on BB_OUT and I am able to see the buck-boost voltage on PWR_BB1 when I enable that switch. But I do not know how to enable the PWR_BB2 switch.

hi Jeff

To enable the PWR_BB2 switch please use register 7 bit 1 EN_PWR_SEL_BB. We will update the spec to make it clearer.
