For the TPS40211, the abs max voltage is 52V for the VDD pin and 10V for the RC pin. The reference design in the datasheet shows that VDD and RC pins are tied with a resistor.
If the part is put into shutdown made, does the oscillator stop? If so, is there any danger of exceeding the abs max on the RC pin with a Vin of 36V?
Also, what is the max/vin voltage that the error amplifier can integrate to? I know that the abs max for this pin is -0.3 to 9V, but can it integrate up to these values?
