I sent this service request originally 8/16, Service Request# 1-1094720848

I recieved and email to use e2e 8/20 with no actual help or link to the service request.

I register for e2e today.

OK here is my question:

I'm using a TPS92314 and would like to shut it down. Do you have a recommended circuit for shutdown. I was given a circuit that shorts VCC to gnd there by forcing it into shutdown, Is this generally recommended?

What do you recommend for On/Off and Dimming on this IC?

There is conflicting information about this IC on your website:

It's called "Non-Dimmable" in the user guide:

On the website it says Dimming Method Analog:

Which one is correct?

Actually both of them are correct.

The first link you show is the user guide for the EVMs which is for non-dimmable application.

TPS92314 is also compatible to dimmable applications. We have a reference design called Triac dimmable Flyback LED Driver with PFC for A19 using TPS92314 (http://www.ti.com/tool/pmp8014).
