Hi friends...
Got a bit confusion with LMR62421,Is the device is able to supply current of 1.2A at 3.3V Vin and 5V Vout.....
suggestions are welcome other device too.....
Thanks in advance....

Hello Bhojaraj,
You could use Webench to see if the design is possible or not. But as such, with a Vin of 3.3 to Vout of 5, the duty cycle is about 46% considering voltage drops across the inductor and the internal FET. This means that the average current requirement would be equal to Iout/(1-Duty). This comes to something just above 2.1A which is the max current capability of this device. This means that you would not be able to use the LMR62421 for your purposes.
The Webench software will also tell you which other Simple Switcher devices would be good for your application. E.g. LMR61428 is a viable solution too.
I hope this helps and feel free to reply with more queries.
Regards,
Akshay
