Dear Engineer and Comunity Members:

I am using the UCC28019 to design a PFC circuit.After reading the PDF,I wonder in which PIN does the Chip sample the rectified voltage wave shape?

If there is no, how does this chip correct the Current Shape just as the Voltage Wave Shape?

Hi, Martin

UCC28019 is a CCM PFC control IC, is based on the ONE CYCLE CONTROL method not traditional average current contoro method. ONE CYCLE CONTROL is not need to sense AC voltage as wave reference for inductor current. If the off time of PFC mosfet is proportional to input voltage, the inpur current is proportional to input voltage, so THD and PF will be OK.

But I am still curious about the ONE CYCLE CONTROL method in PFC. Maybe I know few about PFC,so I haven't met this kind of control method before. Would you please show me some reference paper about it at your convenience?
