Hello,

I want to use LM2623 to step up 5V to 5.9V. Current drive required is 2A.

Will this regulator support 2A at 5.9V. Because in data sheet its mentioned as

Please reply at the earliest.

    I'm not the design center support, but came across this with no response so step in to help out.  There is no particular info on DS, but from your input of 5V and Vo of 5.0V which is not very high, so can be decuced as YES.

    It should deliver 2A, try use the LM2623A version which has higher current limit of 2.2A instead of 1.2A typ would make it a better choice. Hope that answer your query.
