For certain product, we need 5 volts at 10mA current. The input voltage may change from 2.7 to 9 volts. Initially, TPS63060 seemed to be a good choice, but this is rather powerfull IC, and considering our requirements, maybe there are other solutions, that will do the work with less external parts and total footprint, even sacrificing some efficiency? The solution should not require more than 2 layers of PCB, i.e. no LGA/BGAs.
