I have a customer who is looking for a battery charger and I'm wondering if the BQ24190 would do the job.
He's already using the BQ27541 fuel gauge and would love for the charging device to talk to the charger via I2C.
His battery is 1s6p so he's hoping to have a charger push 6A for a 15.5A-hr solution. He'd also love for it to be a 12Vin part. Ultimately, his most important feature is to charge the battery as fast as possible.
Finally, is there such a part that might have some smarts to know when the hi-speed camera is on battery and when it is plugged into the wall (and should be charging-yet still able to use the camera)?
Can the BQ24190 do this? if not, can you please recommend something that can?
