above link has schematic of solar charge controller.
battery voltage connected is 12.4V
i have following problems in working of bq24650 solar charge controller.
1) For the values of R3 & R4, the MPPSET pin voltage should get as 1.2v at 17.83v input voltage. But it is getting 1.2v at 18.6v input voltage. why is it behaving like that ?
2) when i am touching the MPPSET pin with multimeter, controller is changing to charge complete mode(STAT2 ON, STAT1 OFF) from charging mode(STAT1 ON,STAT2 OFF) and again when i touch the VFB pin with same multimeter, it is coming back to charging mode.what is the reason for this miscellaneous operation ?
3)When i power up the controller, controller is showing charging mode but the current to battery is 0A even if the battery is not ful. why ?
4) when the battery is connected with input supply, the VFB pin voltage is 0.95v and when i connect the input supply, VFB pin voltage is around 2.05v. why there is variation in the VFB ? how it depends on input supply ?
