TPS76933 Response for sudden load change

In my application TPS76933 has been used to provide power to RF IC. During transmission my RFIC is going to draw a step current of 30mA for 1.5 ms, rest of the time current drawn will be 1 to 2 ma. The TPS76933 is used with a bypass capacitor of 4.7 uF. I need to observe the transient response for the sudden load change to make a robust design. In this regard if u can provide me a spice macro which is compatible with tina ti will be very help full for me.

Hi Biprangshu,

We do not have a spice model available at this time for TPS76933; however, please consider Figures 15 and 16 from the datasheet. These show the typical transient response using a 4.7uF cap.

Hi Biprangshu,

There is not a spice transient model available at this time that I am aware of. A transient model is very complex and will still be a model in the end. We do provide transient curves in our datasheets that come from real measurements of devices. These curves will therefore yield a more accurate understanding of how the device will work in a real system.
