The specification states that pins 24, 25 are GPI1/PWM1 and GPI2/PWM2 respectively. It then states that can be used as either inputs or PWM outputs but not as GPOs. However, in the reference design for the 66AKH12 these pins are used as enables for two UCD9244 chips. The Fusion software treats them as GPIOs.

Is there an error in the specification for the UCD9090? Are these pins really GPIOs?

Can you provide the documentation that indicates that pins 24 and 25 are GPI pins?

The UCD9090 datasheet indicates that pins 24 and 25 are GPIO15 and GPIO16 not GPI1 and GPI2.

I see Table 4 in the datasheet looks like the source of the confusion,

You should follow the pin functions description.

Thanks Brad. I thought Table 4 must have been incorrect as the pins do seem to work as outputs.

Every single pin number in Table 4 of the UCD9090 datasheet is wrong, I'll have this sent for correction, please refer to Table 1 for the correct pin numbering.

The associated pin configuration options vs the pin names are correct in Table 4 of the AUG2011 revision of the DS, just the pin numbering is incorrect.
