Could there be a potential issue with the charging internal circuitry of the BQ24081 if its output is connected to the positive terminal of a battery, but the negative terminal of the battery is interrupted from circuit ground? In this applicaiton the TS pin thermistor remains connected to the negative terminal of the battery, but the negative terminal of the battery is removed from system ground.
