Hello,

I'm searching for an IC that is capable of measuring 4 Li-Pol battery cells. The main problem is little space I have, so I'd like the chip to require as little additional passive elements as possible.

hi Fafsa,

Any of the bq20zxx devices will be able to meet your need. The reference schematic occupies a board space of 12x75mm. If LEDs indication is not required by your application, the bq20z45 will be a good match and you can further reduce the space the components require.
