we try to design a battery monitor system where multiple packs are monitored with their individual BQ34Z110's. A single controller should read/scan the status of all packs via the I2C bus (up to 64). Unfortunately I haven't found a way how to address more than one BQ34Z110 in the datasheet. They all have the same address and no command could be found to address an individual device or to assign different addresses or differentiation to them.
Is this IC limited to one single unit on the I2C bus??? It really doesn't make sense to have 64 I2C buses going to the battery bank.
