Please answer following question from customer.
LM2733 datasheet(SNVS209E) explains thermal protection function as follows.
P1:Protection is provided through cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown.
P3:(3) If power dissipation exceeds the maximum specified above, the internal thermal protection
circuitry will protect the device by reducing the output voltage as required to maintain a safe junction temperature.
Please advice the junction temperature that thermal protection works.
Please explain the details of how the thermal protection works.
- Does output voltage shut-down or reduce the voltage ?
- Is this protection latch type or restart when temperature down to threshold ?
