LM3481 Current Sense Threshold Votlage

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3481

I have a question regarding the current sense threshold voltage specification of the LM3481.  This value varies over the entire temperature range quite a bit (100mV to 190mV). Trying to design around this spec is difficult. If I use the minimum 100mV and my desired current limit to come up with my Rsense value then at 190mV the current limit can be almost twice my desired limit.

I would need to greatly oversize the switch and magnetics to gaurentee the parts would not fail due to overcurrent because of this.

Is there something I'm missing here? Is there data available for how the sense voltage changes over temperature?

Thanks,

Josh
