I have a problem with the over current shutdown of the LM5060. If I set the shut down current limit on ~20A or higher the LM5060 don't shut off, in case of over current. After measuring different Voltages of the circuitry I wonder that the voltage drop across the resistor at the OUT Pin changes if I let flow current across the Mosfet. The Voltage drop across the resistor at the SENSE Pin is stable. In my opinion this is the reason, because the comparator don’t switch.
The circuitry has no voltage divider at the SENSE Pin. (Like Figure 33. In the Datasheet of the LM5060) The RDSON of the MOSFET is 1.75mOhm.
Can somebody explain me this behavior please?
