LM2990 -12V using parallel charge pumps

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM2990

Greetings,

I'm currently working on a -12V power supply that can output 0.25A of current using the LM2990 -12V fixed output option. I'm plan to input -20V @ 0.3A to the LDO using charge pumps whose output are -Vin. I'm thinking on using three charge pumps with parallel outputs (each charge pump can output 0.1A), and feed the output to the LM2990. Can charge pumps outputs be connected in parallel to increase the current output? I have a theory that there is a scenario in which the ripple of the output of the charge pumps, which is +/-10mV, will cause destructive interference and won't output -20V @ 0.3A.

My backup plan is to use 3 charge pumps and 3 LM2990 and connect in parallel the outputs of the three LM2990 to get the -12V @ 0.25A. Can the LM2990 outputs be connected in parallel?
