3.3V to 150V/150mA DC DC flyback boost converter

Hi,

I want to design a DC DC flyback boost converter that allows me to convert 3.3V from battery to 150V/150mA. This meant to be used as a DC power supply.

I found the chip LT3958 from LT that might do the trick. The application is page 24 of its datasheet.

I wonder if anyone has a better solution?

For this current a controller is needed. For the input voltage range I suggest looking at a part like the LM3478. There are also a couple other similar parts that have some additional features if needed.

I looked at the LM3478 for a VIN = 3V, VOUT = 150V, 20mA design, but Webench will not generate a working design. PMP10077 is close with VIN = 20V, VOUT = 200V, so I'm wondering if it can be modified for these requirements? www.ti.com/tool/PMP10077
