TPS54292

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS54292

I have an issue with output 1 from the TPS54292.  I have +12V input and +4V on output 1 and 1.8V on output 2.  Output 2 is fine.  However with output 1 I get the proper +4V, but I also get a strong ~50kHz tone riding on the dc.  It's about 400mVpp; so it's quite strong.

When I look at the switching signal at the inductor on the scope, it looks like the duty cycle of the 1.2MHz  is modulated with the 50kHz.  It isn't a stable 1.2MHz.

I used the TI app to calculate the Inductor value and feedback loop compensation filter components.

Where could this 50kHz noise coming from?

I'm using 3 of these devices in my design, and I only have this problem with 1 of  the 6 outputs.

Thanks,
