Please let me ask two questions about shipment mode of bq24195L.

#1,

Can you define the IBAT at shipment mdoe? I understand that to enter shipment mode we need to disable BATFET (REG07[5]=1) and the watchdog timer (REG05[5:4]=00). So the datasheet does not define the IBAT at shipment mode. It does not disable watchdog timer, right?

#2,

When we enter bq24195L to shipment mode and after that the host is also disabled, the shipment mode will be maintained? Or should we enable host to maintain shipment mode?

Sonoki-san,

#1. The IBAT is High-Z mode REG07[5] = 1 in shipping mode with maximum 20uA. Watchdog state does not affect the IBAT.

#2. The shipping mode will be maintained without host interaction. The write to disable the watchdog time makes the charger in host mode, but it does not require host interaction to maintain the mode.
