Hi,

I want to charge  a 3.7V 510mAh li-ion battery using 6V 200 mA solar panel, I have selcted bq24210 as the charger IC. Can I have a AC wall adapter charging in addition to the solar charging using the same IC?

If yes than how should the input be connected to the charger?

    You cannot connect the adapter and panel outputs together.  You will need a power MUX similar to TPS2115A.  The TPS2115A has a max input of 5.5V so you will need a zener clamp to prevent the input voltage from rising to 6V.  This should not result in much lost power since the solar planel MPP will be less 6V (~80%) anyway.
