Hi, I've been using the TPS2420 for a while, Now I have an application where i need more current for a power bus. I am thinking about putting two TPS2420's in parrallel to service the same bus. Can anyone think of any issues that would arise from doing this?

Putting 2x TPS2420's in parallel might be a bit tricky. We have a new 12A integrated FET HS controller out now in both latched (TPS24750) and retry (TPS24751) versions. These are based on TPS24720 controller + TI FET.

The problem with the TPS24750 is it has a large footprint and requires many additional external components than the TPS2420. If there was something like the TPS2420 with the same footprint and similar functionality with a larger current capability, I might consider it.
