Use a Half bridge MOS driver in a buck-boost application

Hi all,

I am looking for MOSFET drivers for a buck/boost application whose basic circuit is given below. I found ICs LM510x to be suitable for this. But I am concerned if the bootstrap capacitor and diode will effect the buck/boost operation? Any guidelines on how to take care of this?
