My customer has a question about TLV62090.

Could you teach me about a question.

[Q]

From in the TLV62090 Datasheet .

1.D/S P.3 [ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS]→[Power good threshold],

   The rising typ is 95%,falling typ is 90%,and MAX and MIN how much?

2.D/S P.3 [ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS]→[Power switch],

   The High and Low side FET on-resistance typ is 50mΩ and 40mΩ,and MAX,MIN how much?

3.D/S P.3 [ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS]→[Line regulation],

   The Line regulation typ is 0.016%/V,and MAX,MIN how much?

    could you please tell why the customer want to know these value? Are they important to the application of this device? because more detail information means more work and more cost. Thanks.

    Thank you for your fast reply.

    The customer already adopts this device,and they are designing.

    However,since there is no value of MAX and MIN, it cannot design.

    Power Good

    rising min typ max (93%, 95%,97%)

    falling min typ max (88%, 90%, 92%)

    Line regulation

    this value depend on the extenal component and layout, so i can't give you the max/min. As shown in the DT, this value is very small compared to load regulation, so it have little effect to the output voltage accuracy.

    on resisitor 

    this value  is much relate to the input voltage, temperature and output current. if the customer want to used the value the estimate the efficiency, i would suggest to measure the efficiency in the EVM.

    [this value is very small compared to load regulation]←What % do you have a gap device?

    ・on resister

    TLV62090 Datasheet P.8 [Figure 6. High Side FET On-Resistance vs Input Voltage],

    but do you also about [Low Side FET On-Resistance vs input Voltage]?

    Number is required when creating specifications for application.

    As the line regulation depends on the external component (such as the output inductor and capacitor) and PCB layout, i don't have a accurate value of it.

    could you share the information why the customer need the min/max of line regulation and on-resistance? how do they use these value? i don't understand the sentence " Number is required when creating specifications for application." whant kind of spec? I can provide right answer only if i have enough information. thanks
